- House Advisor at Vassar College

"My parents are encouraging me to go to college, as well as my teachers and even myself because I want to have a really good career someday and do something that I love to do."

Why podcast?

Reach. GEAR UP Maine has been developing a series of podcast episodes in order to reach all of its schools, students, and families across the state. We do this at little to no cost.

Using Technology. One of our grant objectives is to leverage Maine's technological infrastructure. The use of podcasting is just another way of encouraging students, schools, and families to utilize technology. GEAR UP Maine strives to model the change we want to see.

And it's fun!
